    Default ACL surgery

In the books today. They operated on the correct leg, it's still attached and didn't end up with a random gender reassignment to go with it. Guess I'll call it a win!

Oof, good luck on the recovery! I snapped my ACL in '05, and just had the knee cleaned out. The doc said repairing/replacing it really wasn't necessary, so I didn't. Been doing fine ever since, but it isn't 100% and never will be. Same with all the rest of me.

Glad it went well and good luck with the recovery!

That's never a fun process. Had my knee scoped in 2004 (lost half my meniscus) and that wasn't nearly as long of a recovery, but still took some time and teeth gritting in rehab. Then ruptured my bicep tendon in 2013 . . . that was pretty much a year of recovery to get back to 100%. Take it one day at a time and win the steady race.

When the PT people say "Do this" you need to do exactly what they say. It isn't fun but those witch doctors know what they are doing.
