If they cut themselves out of the gene pool before having a child it's good enough. (no evolution). However, modern medicine has gotten so good it's almost impossible. I read an article where a woman cut a dudes junk off, put it through a garbage disposal, and then when LEO/medics arrived they collected it all, and the hospital, reattached, uh, put it.. something... uh, reattached a lot of hamburger stuff... thing... back on him.
