Sounds like neighbor near the church pulls shotgun out and engages shooter.

Sounds like he shot into the church from outside. Then he entered and shot more. When he came out a good guy with a gun engaged him. Bad guy dropped his rifle and fled in his car. He then crashed and was found dead via GSW. Not sure if it was the good guy or self inflicted.

Have first-hand experience with a perpetrator being shot only to escape in vehicle that ends in a crash as the bullet's damage takes effect. We'll see how it pans out.

I have to wonder what meds this shooter was on/had stopped taking.
