Dishonorable Discharge is a disqualifier under the Gun Control Act of 1968. There is no distinction between a felony and misdemeanor in a general court martial. Small crimes are usually dealt with non judicially.

Yup. This one checks off all the boxes. White guy. Scary black rifle. Military vet. Christian background (it's reported he taught Bible School at some point anyway). Picked up gun through likely private party. Darn near an entire building of casualties.
