I have been lurking on this site for years and decided I should jump in.
I live in Sterling and am a retired cranky Old Fart., curmudgeon probably fits well. I was a mechanic and weldor.
I live in Sterling and have interests in archaeology, shooting,fishing and farming to name a few.
I was born in Gunnison and was raised and went to school in Limon and Crested Butte.
I am a Damn Proud Veteran and served in the 1st. Cavalry Division E Co. 5th Bn/7th Cav in RVN 69/70

As you probably know by now there's a bunch of good people here on the board. And a bunch of cranky old farts as well- in a good way
As being a mechanic myself I can completely relate. I haven't reached the pinnacle of being an old fart yet ( I'm 50) But I sure am getting my practice in.

I have ARs and like them, however, I am mostly into bolt rifles and long distance shooting. I love shooting Prairie dogs at long range.
I am active on the Logan County Shooting Sports Complex near Sterling and try to shoot at least 3 or more times a week. Regards, Mike
