My family gives In-N-Out an OK rating, but big thumbs-up for Whataburger based on our experiences in TX.

The vagrants of Boulder welcome you...
Whataburger is coming back to Colorado, Colorado Springs is the first location.
I found Whataburger to be spendy, they were ok, but nothing I would go out of my way for.
In-N-Out is good, and I will eat there if there is one in the area, but if I am not in the area, I won't drive an hour just to eat there.
Drifters in COS was a pretty good substitute for INO and to be honest as crowded as INO is in COS I would just go to Drifters LOL

Went to the in n out in Thornton today. For as many people were there we got our food quick and it tasted pretty good. Not the best burgers out there but for the $$$ there pretty good.
Don't be stupid!!!!!
I fully admit to wanting a Whataburger based solely on sentimental reasons. Twenty-eight years in southeast Texas and it was definitely a place that I grabbed lunch way more than any McDonalds, Burger King, etc. I would probably put Dairy Queen above Whataburger but they were different in Texas back in the day. The chicken fried steak sandwich was my favorite. Can?t remember if they called that the beltbuster or the hungerbuster but it was yummy.
I can?t get too pumped for anything from the west coast because I?ve never spent time there and the thought of any more Californication of Colorado just ruffles my feathers.
Just ask for jalapenos on the cheeseburger

I love In N Out but won't go out of my way for one.
There is a Shack Shake by my office and those burgers are bomb.
