Remote Start Recommendation

I am looking at getting the wife a remote start for her '08 Commander. We are far enough out in the boonies now that the stupid "no unattended idling" city laws need not apply.

Anybody have a recommendation for an installer and approximate cost?

I don't know how well the aftermarket ones work, but I LOVE IT on my 2014 Silverado! Especially using the OnStar app on my phone to start it.

According to you you are now out in the country, why does your wife need a remote starter when she has you ? You’ll need to go out & shovel the drive & clean off the vehicles. So why not start hers up while you are out there ?

Yes- I can shovel and clear, but starting the car doesn't work when I leave for work an hour or two before she and the kids depart, or I am on TDY somewhere.
