    Default First Stuck Case

I tried Dillon spray lube for the first time, and got my first stuck case. I'm sure it's my fault for not checking the cases I lubed were lubed enough. I normally load small batches of rifle ammo and use Hornady wax on those. I wanted to resize a large batch of new cases for 300 BLK and decided to try the spray lube to speed the process.

My Question: Is there anything wrong with using this method:

If it makes a difference, the die is the RCBS small base AR resizing/decapping die.

    My Feedback

You didn’t let it dry enough, or you were using one shot prior to the Dillon.

It’s easier to tap the primer pocket and use a backer nut behind a 5/8” socket with a washer, insert bolt into threaded pocket and tighten a nut onto the bolt to pull it out smoothly.

Thanks for the reply, Jamnac. For the lube, I put the cases in a cardboard box and sprayed / shake / sprayed again. I was going to let it dry for 10 minutes, but I got wrapped up in something and they sat for at least 30 minutes. Still too short?

I have never used One Shot.

Nope, that should be long enough. If it doesn’t smell like rubbing alcohol it should be good.
