I suspect people are leaving KS for economic opportunity and not other quality of life issues. If I could do the work I do here, I would seriously consider it.

I recall during the housing crisis there were counties in KS almost giving away properties (with tax breaks).

If someone created a business model that would rejuvenate old towns it could be a really good thing for the country.
