    Default Gun prices dropped?

Does anyone else think gun prices have dropped drastically? I mean, I realize that during the Obama years we were in a more or less permanent "panic buying" situation but now it looks like the market is glutted and prices are dropping dramatically.

I'd thought about selling some guns this year to fund a few other projects (motorcycle, sidecar, etc) but now I'm thinking I'd do better to hang onto them for a while.

I guess it's good news for buyers. Seems to be a buyer's market out there. A person could establish a pretty decent collection of hardware with current prices being what they are.

Yeah, or if I'm bored with my shooting irons right now I may look to doing some trading.

Worked out well for me last time - I had a Ruger Bearcat .22 SA revolver, but I already had 2 .22 revolvers and wanted a semi-auto, so I traded straight across for a MK II or MK III (can't remember which - NOT a Mk IV) and it was a great trade.

So is this like one of those Real Estate signs you see where it says PRE SALE - OPEN HOUSE.

Meaning you have some items for trade, hoping forum members will pm you to see what you have. Or just commenting on gun prices that have SW and Brownells selling AR's for $399.

Yep. Still see quite a few AR’s listed close to $2K. And Glocks at or above retail price.

If you are watching sales etc, many guns are coming down in price especially AR's. I've seen deals for green tip for like .22 a round. RIght now primary arms has a complete build kit except for lower receiver for $250 + a $50 stripped and it's a basic 1/7 twist AR for $350......

Anything that could have been hoarded during the panic has come down in price. AR's, lowers, ammo, etc...
Example...Primary Arms was blowing out Magpul 30 rounders for $6.99 a mag...that's below dealer cost, but it's better to sell them, than to sit on them when you're literally sitting on a crap ton of them.

I think you're just seeing a combo of things affecting the marketplace.
Example...the new Glock Gen 5's coming out has slowed the sales of Gen 4's so dealers are dropping the prices on them.

Other things have risen in prices...
Example...AK47's have gone up in price and availability is dropping...want to pay less than $600 for a WASR? Good luck...

In the consumer marketplaces like armslist and gunbroker, you're still going to see $2K+ AR's since they were purchased before or during the panic and people can't correlate value vs the market...
