Yes. My folks are down there and it’s time for a change. I’ll actually be living in Vail, which is SE of the city proper.

I spent 12 years in Benson about 25 miles east of Vail. I miss it sometimes.

Lived in Tucson from ‘68-‘84. There were some great places outside of town to go shooting-no more. In college lived across the street from Linda Ronstadt’s parents one year. Her brother Pete became chief of TPD in the early 80s.

The city hasn’t done well economically, can get nice housing at great prices. Has more of a southwest charm than the Phoenix area for sure. Everyone I knew there has either died or moved away-too damn hot for me. Home to some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I have family in Phoenix so I get down 1, 2x a year.
