    Default Captured Iraqi Weapons

If anyone's interested I found a few other pics of guns/weapons my son picked up in Iraq. Some are pretty interesting. He said these were pretty much the cream of the crop. Notice the stock is missing from the AK in the center, 2nd photo:

I'd say you're right BigMat. Here is what Google whispered in my ear.

Yep, PPSH. We had a couple of those when I was over there. One was made in 1942 if I remember correctly.

In 04 when I was working our HQ element, my predecessors collected a bunch of different stuff to use in training all kinds of people. Some of it they didn't even know what it was. I went through all the stuff and cataloged then and made labels for each so the info wouldn't be lost.

    SA 7's and 14's
AK's from all over the place, Tabuks and Maadis mostly
Weird bastardized MP-5's with german guts and Iraqi receivers
    PPHS's
    SKS's
    Mosin Nagant's
    RPG's
weird looking single shot Russian Grenade launcher (think it was an RGS-50)
    home-made cans
pistols of all kinds, mostly 9mm and russian junk
    GC's

I'm not even sure where the pics are anymore. I just became numb to it.
