Summer of 1984 at my uncle's farm outside Yuma, CO. Wasn't a fan initially.
That changed when I started dating the future Mrs bo and got to shoot her customized Colt.

Been shooting almost my entire life- didn't get the pleasure of shooting an M-16 until BCT in 2006. Bought my first AR a couple months after getting out the Army. Been in love with the style ever since.

M16 at Lackland AFB in 1987, Purchased my first AR in 2015.

To their credit, the NSA is the only agency of government that listens to the American people.
First time I shot an AR was in 1997. We were shooting my Hungarian sa-85 and a guy came over and let me shoot his colt car-15 and I let him shoot my sa-85, been hooked ever since.
A few months later on my 18th birthday when I got off work went stright to the local gun shop and purshased a nice new 16in Bushmaster.
Don't be stupid!!!!!
August 1980. M16A1. I carried an A1 all the way through 91. Medical always got the last of the bunch.
I see you running, tell me what your running from
Nobody's coming, what ya do that was so wrong.
First M16 was at Ft. Carson, 1986.
First AR15 was the one I built in 2005 (3Gun with a Marlin Camp 9 was rough).
I was 7 or 8 full auto. Happened at some Air Base in Germany
