Guys in the shop wouldn't shut up about it, so I announced I just looked up spoilers online and started making up stuff while they ran out of the room covering their ears. Good times.

You could have just gone to the 2:45AM showing and made it to work.

The Westminster Promenade 24 must have half their theaters showing the flick. Both IMAX and regular, they have showtimes every fifteen minutes and the last show I saw was 2:45AM.

I am seeing it in IMAX tomorrow at 12:15PM. But was shocked to learn most theaters now only have assigned seating what a pain in the ass if you just want to go on the spur of the moment you end up with bad seats.

The wife and I have tickets to go see it this Saturday afternoon. Christian Toto (of HollywoodInToto fame) was on 630 this morning talking about it with Ross Kaminsky. They didn't give any spoilers, but they both said it was good with a few drawbacks. I usually trust Christian's reviews- since he's one of the only movie critics that's right of center- and it seems like it won't be nearly as good as Rogue One. I still can't wait, I've been a fan for as long as I can remember (and I wasn't born yet in '77 )

ETA: Here is Toto's review of it, don't worry he doesn't throw in spoilers, but does point out some downfalls that might leave a bad taste in your mouth that can be confirmed upon seeing the movie.

I will be seeing it in a week or two. I’m not big on seeing anything as soon as it opens.

Me too, which is why I've never seen the original Star Wars. Still seems too crowded for me.

1977 called. They're not showing Star Wars anymore.

I want the theatrical release versions of the 1st 3 films in 4K HDR Ultra HD BluRay.

I wonder if any of the post-Aurora upgraded big premier security measures will be in effect?
