Default Threading kimber 22lr converstion for a 1911 my options?

i have two 22LR conversion one for my Kimber 1911 and one for my Sig p226.

i have seen on YouTube a guy shooting a kimber conversion with a suppressor my question is how do i go about getting the barrel threaded do i have to buy after market barrel that is longer to thread the end or is there away to add adapter by threading the current barrel not sure how to go about this? with the 226 i know sig makes a threaded conversion kit might have to buy another barrel not so happy about finding out after buying the kit that you can get it with the threaded barrel instead! o well

I'm looking into doing this for my 21 birthday present to my self lol was wondering to what extent i would have to do? meaning extra costs besides stamp, suppressor, and so forth?

movied from the 22lr thread as i realized it is a gunsmithing question.

They usually have a wait of a month or more, but very worth it from what I understand.

    Threading is a simple matter.
You need to know the diameter and pitch of the suppresor.
1st you need to find if anybody makes a longer than stock barrel. To have one made custom would be cost prohibitive.

Not sure if anybody makes one.
If you find one PM me and I will thread it for you.

If u can't get a longer one. Then you need to have the current barrel internally threaded and then an adapter made to extend and add threads. I have done this before specifically on a kimber conversion.
