Looking to put an inexpensive laser on a handgun. It has a rail.
It will have only light, occasional use. Need some suggestions.
Seems like green works better in day and red at night. Any agreement or disagreement with that thought?

Crimson trace or buy some POS China laser from flee bay
Tho it will make me a begger in the streets burn it if you must
John Adams to George Washington
Crimson Trace gets my vote as well, but if it's intended for carry and not just range/training use, just make sure that between laser and weapon choices that you can find a good compatible holster (not always a given...)
