Default How come nobody is talking about the snow mageddon? Seriously white stuff falling.

It basically never snow, rains or otherwise precipitates here. However right now we have a solid 6" of snow, no drifting, perfect snow. That is more snow than we have had combined in the last year. More snow in one shot than I have seen in several years. Of course its usually hard to tell how much snow fell since it usually blows away before it hits the ground.
It is still snowing heavy right now.
    Anyone else getting snow?

Usually it's the other way round. There's definitely 4+" of partly cloudy on the ground , it's tapered off to a very slow dusting coming down.

    This.

Sun is shining in the Ranch . . . but looks like something blowing in from the north. We'll see what happens.

Same here. Just enough to give the ground some color. I thought this thread was facetious until I realized that someone actually had snow.

For a while the news was saying it was supposed to show Saturday and Sunday, but as usual, as the date drew closer that changed and no snow.

Enough to keep me off roofs today. Doing a frozen boiler instead...
