    I'm thinking the opposite. First go shoot a Luger and see how you like it. I didn't. I've been looking at Lugers and watching the values for a while. And today I read an article about Barret Jackson. Mostly saying the auction cars are getting newer and newer. I think people only go back so many years to spend big bucks. I dont know anyone under 70 that is crazy about Lugers. Wait until all the old timer start dropping, estates will start flooding the market. I've seen pretty ones for 900-1000. I'd agree with others about staying around 600.

    I've got my great-great-Grandpa's .30 caliber luger, WWI. It shoots beautifully, but the springs in the magazine are going and they cause a mis-feed fairly often. Keep an eye on that issue.

    All I can think of is Band of Brothers where the one guy wants to find one so badly. He ends up shooting him self in the leg with it and dies. Shows and movies that show how bad some of the soldiers want them make me want one. On that note it's probably something I'll never buy.
