oops. I'm so tired I can't think straight or even do math right now. $5.12 a paycheck is still $20 a month...I still need a 10% cost of living increase at work. Rent goes up, student loans, gas, car insurance...my wages? not so much. Now they want another $20. no. no no.

That's even more than the Head Tax that Denver and Greenwood Village charge when you work there; which is equally bullshit.

ETA: I was hoping you'd double check your math and tell me you were correct; then I'd start working on my CDL tomorrow morning.

That's the 2nd time I've done that today. Earlier I was figuring miles per week * 52 weeks and it came out to $96,600 a year. I was overjoyed. A friend said it didn't sound right, so I re-did it and it came out to $80,700 a year... why couldn't it have just been right the first time? Either way, this should be the final year as a full time truck driver. Hoping to be going for my Associate's Degree in Paralegal next January. Then on to law school if I do well enough.

Here is your chance to voice you opposition to her very liberal agenda. She is looking for more ways to pick your pocket. Senators Martinez Humenik and Moreno and Representative Winter will be holding their second Joint Town Hall of the 2018 Legislative Session this Saturday, February 10.

    When
Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM MST
    Add to Calendar

    Where
    Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain
    11429 Pearl Street
    Northglenn, CO 80301

We better stop her from getting into the Colorado Senate where she can push and pass her agenda....
