    Default Jewelry Appraisal question

Anyone know a reliable appraisal company? I got my fiancé’s ring at Shane co and they can appraise the ring but not the diamond since it wasn’t through them. We’re just trying to find a place so we can have it on the insurance policy. We don’t want to mail it in.

I had Trice Jewelers (Southglen) do some appraisal work. Very happy with their service.

    Ask your agent.

    This.

Get them to recommend an appraiser that they approve of.

You can waste a ton of time arguing over value if they don't like who you use.

    Lol, mayhem.

For clarity, I'm not saying asking the agent is what the insurance company wants or anything. Just thinking that any agent probably has a few customers with jewelry endorsements and may already have some places to get appraisals in their Rolodex.
