My Feedback
"Praise be to our prophet, John Moses Browning, who hath bestowed upon us the new testament of shooting. Delivered unto us, his disciples, on 29 March 1911 A.D."
Thanks. I don’t really even want to shoot one. More interested in kind of field stripping it and checking out the mechanics of it. I’m OCD about the way something is designed to function. I had a P320 but couldn’t stand the design (specifically the way the sear reset after the trigger break on the pull) and got rid of it. I guess I’m mostly curious how closely the design is to the P320. I don’t really want to buy one only to dislike the mechanical function of the design and end up selling it.
The slide stop/release and take down lever are right next to each other, close enough to look like an extended slide release.
I actually found my thumb on the take down trying to release the slide.
In an actual stress reload situation, it could be an issue if you managed to flick the take down lever
Did not shoot it, just was looking it over.
Size was nice, trigger was nice, felt nice in the hand except for my pinkie not having a perch
Purchased an LC9s as I scrape the funds up for one of these.

Why would you ever be trying to release the slide during a reload with the slide stop? The only thing my slide stop gets used for is to lock back the slide when I don’t have an empty mag in the gun or to lock slide back during certain malfunction clearance drills. Stress reload should involve ripping the slide back with the support hand and letting it slam home, no slide stop involved.
I've got one and run a couple hundred rounds through it. Overall, I'm extremely happy. I think the trigger is great.
Only thing I don't like is the mag release. It's not raised enough IMO.
I will write a more complete review in the next few days.

Because that's the way a lot of people do it.
A stress reload "SHOULD" be done by releasing the slide by hand? Says who? Sure, that's one way to do it. But using the slide stop is another completely valid method. And one that requires a lot less hand movement I might add.
I've taken a lot of classes run by some extremely experienced individuals. And not one of them has ever taught that the slide stop shouldn't be used.
Kinda a silly thing to get triggered by IMO.
Run that thing how you want, hollohas. I say it’s mostly personal preference.
I prefer to release the slide by hand but only because I shoot a lot of different pistols and that method works on every one so I don’t have to change up my technique from pistol to pistol depending on the size or location of the slide stop.
Hitting a slide stop is a fine motor skill. If you are in a fight your fine motor skills are going to take a dump, and if your hands are wet, sweaty or bloody, trying to activate a small slide stop is not something I am going to train for. Plus grabbing and sling shotting set the slide is also what you will be doing to clear malfunctions. I like to keep everything consistent. Run it how you want but I use mine at the range the same way I would use it in a fight.
I plan on picking up one of these when the price comes down some to see how I like it. I prefer something more the size of a G19 or P320 but this one might be good for warm weather carry. Can’t wait to give one a try.
