Colo Convention Center/Sportsman’s Expo CCW
Have searched the internet with no luck. Gong to attend the show second week in January. Anyone know if they have detectors and or wand you.
I'm not sure about detectors or wands, but right on the home page it says:
No Pets
No Weapons, Firearms or Ammunition
That being said, I've never had any issues at the convention center...

Been to the car show with ccw. No wands, detectors, searches or pat downs. Convention center is not private property. Unsecured government building can't stop ccw.

Go there quarterly for work meetings, and it is pretty unsecured, etc.
Obviously not a golfer.
Went to Bellco theater last month and everyone went through metal detectors.. I haven't seen detectors of any kind at the Convention Center yet.
Went to the Car Show back in April of this year, carried with no issue... Profession notwithstanding- but went with a friend who is not a LEO and he was carrying. No detectors, no wands, and although I didn't look I didn't notice any signs that stood out.

I think bellco varies based upon the ahem, "audience" but it has been reported they would use wands and security.

It was Joe Rogan. Lines were temp installations, same kind of set up they have at the entrance to avs games.
