If that is PS, it is a great job. She looks stronger than him, just like in real life, shadows look right and they are both focused on the same point. It could very well be fake, but I would not be surprised if it was real. Shouldn't he be dressed as the whore though?
Oh and as for Snopes, they are not a definitive source. They are, from what I have read, just a couple with essentially no major credentials that decided to start a website to verify voracity of other things on the internet.

What is all this "if" talk? This isn't even a good photoshop. You can clearly see where the lines of a bikini was on her hips. They are focusing on the same point because there are probably hundreds of pictures of them holding hands and walking in the exact same manner. You can also see the pixelation on her hips and their hands. The shadows look correct because the original picture was probably two people standing on the carpet togheter.

LOL at ragging on Snopes. This photo is from the same photo contest listed in the Snopes article. How much more definitive do you need to be?
