Lost Something - Need Help Finding (DST)

Sometime between when I went to bed at around midnight and waking up this mirning I seem to have misplaced an hour of time. I've heard a rumor that I might find that hour in Arizona, but I don't recall travelling there so I can't imagine I lelft it there. If we pool our COAR resources, I'm sure that missing hour will show up somewhere.

I hate Daylight Savings Time.

I'm the opposite, I love daylight savings time, I just wish we could leave it be all year.

Not a big fan of changing all the clocks in the house twice a year, seems fairly retarded to me.

Springing ahead means an extra hour of daylightfor fishing so I love it. Falling back sucks and I see no point in it.

I like the Florida idea (year round DST) do not like the Arizona style at all (No DST ever). Morning people - the minority - probably love standard time, and there's a misconception that DST is in effect during the winter. But no, it's what lets it be light until 10PM in the middle of Summer, condensing your "non working" time into a part of the day when almost everyone is awake, and 9-5 office workers (or similar) can experience a good part of the warm afternoon summer sun even in the weekdays.

To go to Arizona time means you lose that, at the best in Summer, you'll get off of work and it'll start getting dark around 8:30-9:00PM.

I feel little need to go to standard time in the Winter.

I'm a morning person (typically wake up at 4 or 5 on work days) who works 8-4 usually, and I love all the sunlight I can get after work, so I'd be good with the Florida idea.

DST really sucks for (some) IT when you have a management device that goes in/out DST and managed systems that interact with it that are geo dispersed and client won't let you run Zulu time on everything.

To make matters worse, I awoke to the sound of an obnoxious rotary winged thingy in my hood at 7:15AM (biological time). It lasted about 15-20 minutes off and on.

I couldn't see it. Didn't know if it was the Russians, flight for life, or an idiot recreational aviator.
