    Yep I’ve seen it done before.... same with .380 out of 9mm. They go bang, but only once. Not gonna cycle the slide.

    I can shoot 9mm in my Glock 23 all day long, and it cycles just fine

    Did it once, two XD’s on the table and mags looked the same. The .40 XD made a thud sound. Mixed up mags but it fired without damaging the pistol. The caseing was swelled out and ejected.
