if it was locked up how did he get it?

I had my Missouri Safety Hunter Education card at 13. Not sure what that has to do with anything? That doesn't allow a minor to bypass the law and possess, own or purchase a handgun.

Maybe you should read the Maryland statutes regarding children and the storage of firearms. Crays posted them for you.

If you're going to claim a law was broken by the father at least know your shit. We already know the shooter didnt give a damn whuch laws forbid him from possessing a handgun.
