Default Joined three gun rights organizations

    Joined the

    NRA - 3 years @ $100
Second Amendment Foundation - $150 Lifetime
Guns of America - $20 annual

Hope that helps some of these organizations fight back against the liberals and the politicians trying to pass gun control laws.

Are there any others worth joining and/or donating/contributing to?

Joining is a good first step. Meeting with your elected officials (yes even including the Sheriff and City Council) is a good second step. Showing up at committee meetings is a good third step.

2ndA supporters really need to not just pay dues, but get into the trenches. We are getting our butts kicked in the actual numbers game right now.

Great points Mark! I've been wanting to be more involved, but wasn't really sure how. Thank you.

I also just emailed my rep yesterday and encouraged him to support the magazine ban repeal.

    Nice!!!

What Mark said is a 110% on spot. I also like to remind people out in public or even in my inner circle that the second you give up the right to protect yourself you become a slave to who does (IE police, military, gov).

Our Forefathers did something that no other empire in history did in the creation of the U.S., they understood that ultimately even the most well intentioned gov could still be corrupted so they gave the Citizens the right to keep the gov in check by not only checks and balances but by force if need be. If we give up our 2a right we might as well give up our free Speech, Freedom of Religion, hell we might as well become a full on socialist / dictatorship.

Oh and remind people that aren't familiar with history that those things are bad.....

Still waiting for the NRA to articulate how they are going to fight for our rights. Looking at the state gun control model and not seeing much hope.

Would love to renew my lapsed membership and donate again to the NRA ILA.

Another way I plan to help is once I am in a position financially to get away from driving a truck, I am going back to school and getting my Paralegal Associate's Degree and then applying to Law Schools and getting my Jurisprudence Degree.

I want to specialize in 2A law, among other specialties.

I thought this was going to be about an organization that protected the rights of those who shoot 3-gun competitions.

I had to look up what that even was because I had no clue what it was or that it even existed.
