I thought I read that the PSA takedown pins were a proprietary size and you can't mix and match their receivers with other brands of AR-10 pattern guns... but maybe I'm wrong?
There's a whole thread on that somewhere. I'm not going to search it for you.
Pin diameter is same. Pin length is different.
Unless they changed the Gen2 stuff, bore axis of PSA is about .045" (going off memory here) lower than LR308/SR25. Charging handle will hit buffer tube yoke. I have a co-worker who runs a G1 PSA upper on an LR308 platform 80% lower. He had to machine the top of the yoke for CH clearance. He has not reported any issues relating to function otherwise (not sure how many rounds through.
That's the suck thing about .308 AR's. No industry standard exists yet, so you need to be aware of ANY mfr statements relating to compatibility with DPMS/LR308, KAC/SR25 or ArmaLite AR10 compatibility. And we all know that LR/SR is not compatible with AR10, right?
Just my $.02
I have a G1 upper you could try for fitment, if we can work out a meet up.
In the past, I had always recommended to people to go with matching upper/lower receivers if they couldn't physically test/mate components before buying. That's how I ended up with 2 .308 AR's. lol
Until several major militaries worldwide adopt the same platform, and it becomes "universal", it's buyer beware.
As a side note, The PSA units have become very affordable, if folks want to get into the .308 game. The all-PSA unit I have actually runs pretty well (Gen1 PA-10 lower, Stainless 18" basic upper).

Bassackwards, the M5 uses different length pins.
It does favor their pins, bolt catch and mag release.
That's the PITA about the 10 platform, there is practically no standardization.
