Default Remington 870 Express pin coming out

There's two pins that hold the fire control group into the receiver. The forward pin just above and forward of the trigger keeps coming out.

I thought the pin was worn, so I bought a few replacements from Midway (one to replace and a few extra's to keep on hand) and put one of the new pins in but when I simulate racking a shell and the pump goes forward the [brand new] pin pops out.

(generic google image used) see forward pin (right pin) for visual.

    Any ideas?

For the time being, I took a few small pieces of duct tape and put over the pins to get me through my pheasant hunt on Sunday but that's a temporary fix.

If anyone can recommend a quality Remington qualified gunsmith I'd be grateful.

    It is a 12 gauge.

There are 2 "D springs", one for each of the two pins, that fit into the notches in the pins to secure them.

You can remove the d spring for the forward pin, bend in a little tighter, and reinstall.

Odd, I don't see any D springs at all.

Should be one on each of the two tubes in the trigger assembly that the pins go thru.
