    Default Vinyl soffit removal?

Does anyone do vinyl soffits that would be able to tell me whether I can remove a few sections of the soffit and then reinstall? I understand they lock into each other but other than that, they're just hanging there. I need to gain access under my eve in a few places but I can't figure out how to remove the soffit in sections....if that's even possible.

EDIT: Never mind, I tried to find a good video but didn't find anything useful.

You can remove sections. Typically tucked into tracks on each side and slide locks into adjacent pieces.

Carefully pry out edge toward eve. Work with 2 thin pry bars until have about 18" exposed. Push/pull on exposed edge and should see where and how attached to adjacent pieces. Slide out needed sections. Section typically = 12".

If need I can post pics tomorrow morning.

Yeah I watched that video and it's about how he mounted his cameras. Found a bunch on installation....think I need to get a siding removal tool. My soffit looks like it's sitting on the siding j-cchannel against the house and the facia cover bent into a L shape to support the soffit edge. The soffit feels like is floating and I don't see any nails or screws in the soffit on the facia edge.

What are the screws on the lower part of the fascia? Have you checked to make sure that isn't just holding up the soffit? I doubt it, but it's worth a shot.

Yeah I've tried everything. The facia cover is between the gutter and facia board and bent to an "L" and then screwed thru the soffit into the facia board. I'm going to try what buffalobo suggested and if that doesn't work, I have a siding removal tool coming Monday.
