Not at all. I'm only 5'8"...not a big guy. It's not a matter of roominess or anything. The front edge of the seat is too high for my comfort and can't be adjusted down any further. The 8-way seat can be adjusted in an infinite number of directions so it works much better. I'm actually looking into whether or not I can retrofit that seat into my truck.

BTW...Chevy is coming out with a Silverado 1500 with a 3.0L diesel (I think that's the size) for the 2019 model year. Performance and mileage are rumored to be better than the Colorado/Canyon. Ford's F-150 diesel is out later this year.
