    Default Stag Arms Complete Uppers?

Hey all, I’ve been looking at a standard M4 style upper and came across the Stag Arms one for a very good price considering its feature set. 1/7, 4150, chrome lined, etc. I’ve heard of Stag before...but don’t hear TOO much about them. Everything else in the same price range is a QPQ barrel. Anyone have hands on experience? I’m sure the receiver itself is fine but I’m a little weary of a sub $400 upper’s barrel quality unless it’s a known quantity like PSA’s FN barrels. Thanks!

I have a couple of Stag Arms rifles and have no compaints at all. Bought them about 10 years ago so I don't have any experience with them lately.

I dug into google a little and it seems like the vast majority of "reviews" echo your sentiments. People generally say exactly that, no complaints. Very few rants or raves.

People also haven't "dug into" the specs either. There are hundreds upon hundreds of forum threads out there on the differences between specs on an OEM Toolcraft BCG vs BCM/Colt/etc. and threads going on for tens of pages on nitride vs chrome lined barrels.
The one time I actually wanted to find some in depth information, all I can find is "no complaints"

Maybe I'll give this one a spin in the near future and form my own opinion. Thanks for your input though, StagLefty! I think I'm pretty safe with "no complaints" versus more polarized reviews.

They've been around awhile with minimal to zero issues performance & quality wise. Built the spouse a L/H sbr off one of their guns, still rocking away with 0 issues
At one time those uppers and a lot of other mfg's uppers were close to $100- $150 more.
With the PANIC slump (for now) over most of them are dumping guns and parts.

I ended up ordering their tactical upper on sale for $350.
Seemed like a great deal for a 4150 chrome lined barrel and an MLOK FF handguard.
