Severe latency when replying to a thread?

Starting several weeks ago I started noticing severe latency when replying to threads. Like I'll type and it'll take over 30 seconds (sometimes up to a minute!) for what I'm typing to appear. This is on a Chromebook using Chrome.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Nothing else on the Chromebook appears to have this problem, only when replying to threads on this particular 'board.

I'll try using chome on the 'ol PC for awhile and see if the problem exists here.

It’s the new censorship feature. Once you type it someone has to look it over to see if it’s acceptable.

I was noticing the same thing a while back, it just kind of stopped happening out of the blue.

been happening to me lately, but not on every reply. Doesn't seem to happen in the "quick reply" box, only when I hit "Reply with quote".

It's some kind of javascript code running, but I haven't taken the time to dig deeper and find out exactly what.

I'm getting it too. Also using Chrome

Helps the tech folks if all who experience this include things like OS and browser.

So far it seems Chrome is the common thing for those experiencing this.
