    Are you Adams county?

If so, good luck getting an appointment before July or August.

I set my appointment about a month ago and the soonest I could get was the end of June. Mine expires at the beginning of June so I?m sure I?ll have to pay extra for not renewing it before the expiration date.

You would hope that they cut you some slack. It isn't like things have been anywhere near 'normal'.

In DougCo you can renew by mail.

So, got a message from the sheriffs department telling me they cancelled my appointment for my renewal.

Called them back and they gave me options. I could either do some sort of mail in but it would have to be postmarked like pronto or they could reschedule me.

Odd thing is when I made my appointment for late June that was the earliest I could get. After the reschedule, I am going next Thursday. Looks like I?ll be renewing one day before my expiration instead of three weeks after.

Maybe I should buy some lottery tickets?

I hope the same happens for me. I think mine expires today and my appointment is sometime in August.

Denver didn't like my proof of address, so had to email that to them, but they requested it a few days after I submitted the renewal so at least they're working quickly.
