I'm within the 120 day expiration. How much time do I need to budget for a visit to the BoCo Sheriff? Will this just be a 10 minute visit to give them a check or do I need to plan an hour or more for new fingerprints, BGC, etc?

Arapahoe renews on the spot if it?s before the expiration date. You get a new picture but not fingerprints. Credit/debit or check for payment, $63. They do run bg check while you?re there and if you pass you get your new 5yr permit along with a letter stating if something pops on a deeper records search you?ll be contacted.

^This^, I went there last time with just under 120 days, and lost that amount on the 5 years for my next renewal. Is Arapahoe Co. still renewals on certain days of the week ? I think it was Wednesday’s & Thursday’s for renewals.

Arapahoe is Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8a-4p for either new or renewals. I was in and out in about 20 mnutes, no one else was there when I went, spent 10 of those minutes catching up with some buddies lol.

My permit expires end of June. I spoke to Boulder County today and they said its running less than a month right now for renewals.

Just received the renewal form yesterday. Bank requires an appointment for certified check and notary.
Everything is extra effort these days and i don't even want to go out. I'll just grab my mask and go.
