Default Wells Fargo trying to defend itself against anti-2A folks

Jordan Ash of the St. Paul Federation of Teachers questioned why Wells Fargo hasn't distanced itself from gun-makers and the NRA, asking whether the company cared about the "safety and well-being of students."

"Have you disclosed to shareholders how much money you've made from doing business with the NRA and the assault-rifle manufacturing industry," and weighed it against the cost of failing to take action to "address mass school shootings," Ash said.

I think the most immediate action that Wells Fargo (and other banks) can take to prevent "mass school shootings" would be to stop funding schools.

Only half being a funny. It's a bank, preventing violence is not within their area of influence.

Of all of the anti-gun left's darkest deeds, making me have to defend Wells Effing Fargo is among their blackest.

No, but the banks SHOULD STOP funding the inadequate education (Student Loans) of idiots who are never likely to pay off the loans. That will be the next Uncle Sam bailout...trillions of dollars in loans will be forgiven and everyone's taxes will rise. Another way for the libtards to play Robin Hood.

Yeah, never figured them for an ally.

Wells Fargo just emailed me this morning that they would not accept cash deposit from non account owner (s).

So, if I owe $50 to my friend in other state, I can only deposit $50 check to his account now.

Yeah...they definitely have a tainted history. Unfortunately, our mortgage was sold to them. I've never done business with WF before so I was kinda forced into it with them. I still bank with a bank in CO. Can't really find one here locally that I like as much or offers as much, until...I found out WF offers great deals on checking accounts if you have a mortgage with them. So, now I have a WF checking account for times when a CO account is problematic. And it's free and never ATM fees. I still haven't cut ties with my CO bank but it'll probably happen eventually. Especially if they (WF) resist the SJW pressure re: the NRA.

I don't think I've ever done this in my entire life. If friend is in another state, why wouldn't you protect yourself with a check?
    Obviously not a golfer.
