When you place an order do they charge your card when they receive it or when they ship?

In my case, it was when they shipped it, but at the time, there was very little difference, as the order was shipped just a few days after it was received.

I was charged when invoiced and shipped, about a month after placing my order. When I ordered ammo and a bayonet, I was charged the same day that the items were shipped.
