Obviously not a golfer.
Here was my thread. Look how bad cell phone pictures were back then.

"There are no finger prints under water."
Hmmm, I've never had a photobucket account.
EDIT: Looks like I must have, stand by for original photos.
After wiped down.

"There are no finger prints under water."
Well, that was educational AND disheartening...
I really like the gun and my wife has one too as her daily carry, already starting some pitting...
Crap, for a moment you had me hoping that the new and updated finish solved your issue...
Thank you though, much appreciated1![]()
NIL DIFFICILE VOLENTI
Putting duct tape on the back of my holster solved the issue.
I hadn't worn it for probably a year before I sold it to Great Kazoo for $950 last week. Here is how it looked. The slide finish wore off from holster wear in the about the same place anyway.

I love showing those pictures to see people's reactions. I'm not sure what people think I mean when I say my gun rusted, but it's almost never what is shown in the photos.

That leather is disgusting
That is new leather that I had replaced about a year or two ago. It is disgusting, which is most of the reason that I posted a picture of it. The other reason is to show how great of a sweat barrier that duct tape has been. I think most people don't carry as frequently, or for as many hours as I do, and of those that do, they probably aren't as sweaty. I don't think of myself as a particularly sweaty guy, but then again, I'm not running around touching other dudes so I guess I don't really know.
