I saw what could be a couple of SBR ARs, but “a Colt Light Machine Gun front end” ?
    NM Found it.

Look at the bipod supported rifle on the left in the last photo. Maybe that's it?

Looks like it’s gonna be this firearm located in the center of the pic

That doesn’t look like the stockpile of a gang banger’s underground arms dealer to me

Every time I see a photo of a bunch of cops standing around a table full of guns, I have more and more respect for firefighters.

Police also found two bags of cocaine on the scene, sources said.

Do you think if the NYFD had gone into his home for whatever reason and saw that stash of guns/ammo they wouldn't have freaked out and let LE know about the "arsenal" this guy had?

Well, I don't think that fire fighters would gather around a table full of unignited gas cans and pat themselves on the back for being such heroes.

Sorry...but your analogy just isn't working. It's not the FD's job to confiscate illegal property. The FD would call the PD to seize the gas cans and the photo op, which is strictly political in nature and probably doesn't feature a single rank and file officer involved, would feature cops AND firefighters...mostly brass.

Big city, east coast FDs and PDs have a much different attitude about a lot of things people in this part of the country (the west) see as normal or not a big deal.

Yep, this is the issue right here. Don't worry, no one is hating on cops, certainly not enough for anyone to run to their defense.
