starting to think the "theory" that police and military won't be against the 2A/gunowners crowd is a bunch of hogwash.

Is he though? How long does it take a person to acquire a collection like that? Especially in New York? My impression (based on almost nothing) is that this guy has been laying low for a long time.

Some neat stuff in there. Always wanted a SPAS 12. Too bad it’s probably all going to the shredder.

[QUOTE=CoGirl303;2136875]a Colt Light Machine Gun front end...what in the hell?

Light machine gun uppers were made by Colt for the M16 family of rifles. The LMG upper generally shipped with an open bolt set up to prevent cook offs, had a very heavy barrel and a larger hand guard to protect the shooters hands from heat, as well as a bipod. I think they mounted on any lower without any parts being changed out, but I'm not 100% certain on that.

A cook off is a situation where the barrel gets so hot that the rounds ignite from the heat of the chamber, usually only stopping once the magazine is empty. This upper prevents that from happening because it is open bolt.

Depending when he started Every oen of those guns was available up till the 90's. He's going to have more of an issue with the Uzi (federal charge) and all the AR's as they're banned in NYC.

However that isn't as bad as CA's latest attack on firearms. Specifically parts and possibly accessories

SACRAMENTO, CA (April 6, 2018) Firearms Policy Coalition today announced that it had acquired new "mock-up" language for California Assembly Bill 2382 (AB 2382), currently a bill authored by Asm. Mike Gipson (D - Carson) to expand the definition of "firearm" and "receiver," that would enact a radical and far-reaching new regulatory scheme by treating non-firearm parts, components, and even some raw materials in a virtually-identical manner as Gavin Newsom's Proposition 63 and Senator Kevin de Leon's SB 1235 (2016) did with ammunition.

Yep. California has all kinds of trouble. The gun laws are going to make it a hassle for any new gun owners. California is leading the way in worst quality of life. Guns are not their biggest problem. Gavin Newsom was interviewed by Adam Carolla a few years back. Good fun. Newsom is a dirtbag. Also seem to be some talk about wanting to split up California into thirds. Seem a few people are close to their limit

Wow, this poor bastard is basically the same as all of us. He’s gonna go to jail because of his location in the USA.
The UZI might have the display barrel in it.
