Default Our time together has ended, for now

With heart wrenching grief we bid farewell to Buddy Blue this past Thursday. He gave us 15 years of dedicated service, friendship and joy. First as my daily companion and helper for 5 years and for the last 10 years he was faithful protector and companion to my wife and grandchildren. His tireless dedication to his job and my family amazed me daily. He never complained or shirked a duty, many times he placed himself between us and potential harm. While he was a ferocious protector he also had great empathy to the sick and injured. He spent countless hours bed side to my wife while she recovered from illness and I had to be away working to provide for our family. Our daily workouts were as much therapy for me as they were exercise and fun for him.

It was easy to forget about life's daily struggles when he dropped the ball at your feet and took the ready stance or discarded the ball and pulled at my gloves, asking for a couple rounds of wrestling.

Thank you Buddy Blue, for everything you gave us. We love and miss you.

Special thanks to member Jer, his recommendation of Home for Heaven(great folks, they no longer travel out to our area but helped us find Dr Teague who would and followed up to make sure all went well) saved many uncomfortable hours driving and waiting room time. We highly recommend these folks.
