    Default Hot pockets

No, not those little Stromboli type things in the frozen food section.

The type of hot pockets that can kill an electronic device.

    Apparently summer is upon us.

Had my phone in a shirt pocket today at work and when I pulled it out to check it in was in some sort of protection mode from high heat and had me locked out until I could cool it down.

I’ve had that happen a couple of times when I’ve left it in a hot vehicle by accident but never in my pocket.

    Stay thirsty my friends.

On a side note, Hot Pockets are epic when cooked in a oven and not in the microwave.

In the summer months the screen in my car will be turned off due to heat if I forget to put my sunshade in.

I haven't had mine do this in the a pocket.

In the truck? Yep, all the time.

Being in a shirt pocket probably means it is partially in the sun, and the rest of it is wrapped in a nice little heated blanked. How heavy is the fabric of your shirt? What color is it?

My tan FR button down shirts (Carhartt mostly) don't cause my phone to warm up, but it also fits nearly entirely in the pocket (LG G5, so not some minuscule phone)

It was a light weight FR shirt. I think the main issue could have been that I was doing some catalysts performance tests so I was in close proximity to a large catalyst that was running just over 700 degrees. I actually made the mistake of looking at the temperature probe once I was at the top of the landing before I installed it and it was 148 degrees where I was working. Luckily I only had to stay up there for about fifteen minutes to gather some data. I felt like I might spontaneously combust.
