    In 1957, the city of Tulsa buried a new Plymouth Belvedere in a "waterproof" time capsule, it was opened 50 years later to mark the 100th anniversary of the city. The car had 4 miles on it.

    The time capsule was far from waterproof.

    It was sitting in 4 ft of water when they uncovered it, bathtub rings showed it had been completely submerged at one time.
