Well, I finaly got my gun back from that dick. After the ATF and the Lakewood PD tracked him down in Great Plains, Texas, he promised to return the firearms he still had. I got mine yesterday. It was completely disassembled and in pieces. The frame looks like it had been put in a vise and bent until it cracked, he polished the color case hardening from the side plates and completely disasembled the trigger group and actions. The detective told me that sense he returned the gun, it was now probably a civil matter.
I'm going to call the trade school that he is now employed with and let them know what kind of master gunsmith they hired and generally make his life uncomfortable.

Yes, he is definitely a "dick" for that move. Be careful with the job-impact though. If he were to get fired because of you, he might become unhinged and come looking... He has already proven to have some screws loose with his behavior.

Seems a pretty low likelihood. I wouldn't let fear stand in the way of letting people know he is a shit-bag. Make sure you take pictures.
