    Default Greetings from Palmer Lake.

I was born and raised in CO. I am a lifelong shooter and have recently taken an active interest in building ARs. I plan to start with an AR-15 in .223 and see where it goes from there. I joined the forum to learn more before I take the deep dive.

Also make sure it is 16" barrel, unless you are going the pistol/SBR route. Welcome to the madhouse!

Thanks, everyone. I'm currently looking at the ultimate upper from LaRue, which is 223 Wylde. If I'm not mistaken, that will shoot both standard .223 and 5.56 Nato, correct?

Yup, you’re correct. I usually grab a cup at The Speed Trap during my mc rides.
