STOLEN out of Colorado, has been seen in Colorado and New Mexico but could be anywhere, please keep your eyes peeled and stay with them if you see them and call the owners.



Ripley, a big beautiful 1.5 year old female Bernese Mountain dog with a noticeable BIG freckle on the top of her nose, is missing. She was last seen with a transient male, who was panhandling with her on HWY 24--he had a chain around her neck, fastened to a pole. Previously, the transient was seen panhandling and hitchhiking with her throughout Colorado, most recently in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs.

PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT for Ripley--a gentle, biggy-sized giant Bernese Mountain dog, often mistaken for a Newfoundlander (please see pictures of Ripley enclosed)---and her captor(s) & PLEASE SHARE THIS INFO WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW! Ripley is considered stolen property. There is an active police file and case # for her.

- call or text her owners Tiffany (Tiff) and Austin Lundberg IMMEDIATELY and PLEASE don't let Ripley out of your sight until either her owners or the police get there. They've been missing her by minutes after she's been spotted because people haven't been able to stay near her (e.g., they continue driving) after they see her and her captor.

Ripley's family is concerned that the person (or people) who have her are being tipped off about sightings through facebook. Therefore please....
- DO post information about Ripley and her pictures on Facebook and other social media sites but please only post SIGHTINGS about her in CLOSED GROUPS (e.g., your network of friends/not accessible to the general public) or preferably directly text or call Tiff & Austin;
- DO ask your friends & family to share information about Ripley and her pictures on their nextdoor app, Facebook and other social media sites but please only post SIGHTINGS about her in CLOSED GROUPS (e.g., your network of friends/not accessible to the general public) or preferably directly text or call Tiff & Austin.
- DO email information about Ripley and pictures to your network of friends, family, etc.
- DO print and post flyers of her wherever it's ok to do so. Please contact Tiff or Austin to receive the latest version of the flyer in a high resolution format.
- DO contact the police in your area and notify them if you see Ripley. Please contact Ripley's owners before then who can talk you through Ripley's key markings.
- DO take a picture of the flyer and Tiff & Austin's phone # and keep it on your phone for fast, easy reference in case you spot her.

Ripley had surgery on her leg shortly before she was dog-napped and did not complete rehabilitation. Some people have reported seeing her walk with a wobble or limp. ??

- approx 5'07, thin build
- strawberry blond
- possibly full facial hair
- he is referring to her as "my dog, Ripley" when asked
- she may be with other people as well

Ripley's owners are offering a significant reward for the **SAFE** return of Ripley.

She has been seen all over Colorado and parts of NM with the same guy, who's hitchhiking, panhandling, and hanging out with her.
