Thats why you never let ANYONE touch your firearms. It looks fine from the pics.

Dude, it's fine. If that freaked you out, you really don't want to know how I abused my issued M-4's over the last couple of years. If you have a descent scope on it, I doubt the drop would even be enough to knock it off of zero.

If that's the worst thing that ever happens to it, consider yourself lucky.

I met a guy about selling my Sigma pistol...he brought his buddy with him...his buddy managed to release the slide to field strip it, right onto an asphalt parking lot

The guy I was meeting with said "Well, I guess now I GOTTA buy it!"

Slightly off topic, but this reminds me of a performer that I once met that had a "gunslinging act" in which he could spin, flip, throw and just about everything else you can imagine using two old west style revolvers. He did so with amazing precision. The guy was unbelievably skilled and put on one helluva show.
The part that was even harder to believe was what he used as his old west pistols...
He was using a pair of actual nickel plated, engraved Colts!! He did his act over asphalt fairgrounds, etc. Imagine that.. Yes, somehow the pistols were both in beautiful condition!

Thanks for all your feedback. Like I said maybe I'm paranoid.

If any of you go up Left Hand and see a bald guy and a 7 yr with a Colt chances are that's me and my son

He decided yesterday that he really needs a handgun as the Colt is a bit heavy for him, so promptly amended his Christmas list when we got home. Needless to say the wife was not impresssed!

I'm in the same boat, but, wives frequently will endorse firearm purchases if it is a way to help you bond with your kids! Trust me on this one!

Its well on its way to having the battle scar look!

Reminds me of the guy on Arfcom that threw his rifle down his driveway a few times to get it "battle worn".

Default Reminded me of the old M16a1 sling problems

The front sling would let go while solders were marching. The rifle would spin around and land muzzle first. Almost always on paved roads.
Talk your neighbor into buying his own rifle.
