Same here. They must like shade because they focus their attention to an area below the one tree in my back yard. They eat the grass down to dirt in patches and occasionally dig little holes. I think they even gnaw at the bark at the base of the tree.

I figure once my entire lawn is totally destroyed they will likely move on to greener pastures. Literally.

I’m not really a dog person but I’m tempted to get one just to drive the rabbits away. I wonder what breed is made for hunting rabbits?
Beagle, but rat terriers and jack russell’s will do
