Default Riding with the King, w/pics too lol

No, not the awesome album by Clapton and King lol. Have some free time this week, headed up Guanella Pass and in to Georgetown. I had to put a sweatshirt on under my mesh jacket when I got to the main campground/parking area, easily 20 degrees cooler than down here. Hadn't been up since the road was paved! Just reinforced that as screwed up as our politics have become in this state I still love living here and taking in all the natural beauty we have at our doorstep. Not sure where I'll go tomorrow, dying for lunch at Empire Burgers in Breck-I'll see what the morning brings.

And some iced coffee in Georgetown

Nice bike. Looks like the weather was great. Thanks for the pics!

If you happen to be making any interesting lunch runs on a Friday you should shoot me a message and I’ll knock the cobwebs off my Road King.

Nice! I hope I get a chance to ride more this summer. Very glad you're enjoying the new ride.

Thanks all! The weather was perfect, especially at elevation with the cooler temps. I originally thought about just going to Breckenridge but there's construction on 285 at Grant, mile marker 212 so I decided it was as good a time as any to head up Guanella lol.

ray, might be trying it this Friday, depends on family plans with the grandmunchkins. I'll let you know.

tf, yesterday's ride truly reinforced I made the right decision to get the FLHR, loved the other one but my body didn't haha.

Sounds good to me. Let me know.

I’m usually off on Friday but due to some unforeseen outages on some equipment we were scheduled to test this week I might end up having to work. I should know tomorrow.

Also, day trips with a lunch stop are right in my wheel house so I may even have some suggestions if you want.
