    Just saw this on a "Business Insider" clickbait article but it was pretty cool nonetheless:

    The MI Air National Guard's 107th Fighter Squadron flew an A-10 over Normandy Beach.

    The A-10 was painted with the same kind of black-and-white "invasion stripes" that D-Day aircraft were painted with to avoid friendly-fire incidents:
